Went to joined Chinese Service before we fly off to KL. It was a tiring day of traveling. Here goes our journey. We fly from Labuan to KL, then take a bus down to KL Central. Caroline reached earlier and went to buy bus ticket to Genting for all of us. Need to wait for the next bus at 5pm. We reached KL Central at about 3pm. Went to meet my uncle to pass something to him. Then we went to McD to have our lunch. My uncle's treat. YAY! Get to talk and spend some time with him and also my aunt. Then we went to catch the bus to Genting. It was raining heavily by then.

Actually, I didn't really get to join much of the gathering during the DYAC cause as a committee, I've running here and there standing by for every problems that pop up. Well indeed so many problems arises on the day of the camp but yet, I really see how God works in many of the things be it good or bad, God is always there and He help us through. All I can say is Praise the Lord for this camp and thanks to everyone who has been a great help in this camp.

Today just back from the DYAC camp, overnight at VT's house. We went to Old Town Coffee to have a light lunch together with Michael and also Grace. Then later in the evening, we went to Dragon-i Restaurant to eat dinner together, me and VT...always wanted to eat but too bad never had the chance to go...so, finally get to eat the yummy nicest 'xiao long pao'...here are the pictures..

Ps. Jemmie's 'Kapok' guitar...so kasian...broken till like that...all because of my carelessness of putting the guitar at the wrong place and just one touch by a child and it fall to the carpet and 'patah'...Lesson learned, don't buy cheap guitar....hahaha....opt for quality...go for YAMAHA....YAY!

But this is blessings to Ps. Jemmie too cause according to a chinese saying it says 'old don't go, new don't come'. Someone blessed him some cash to get a new guitar...a much more better one...

Finally, Lions 2 CG Alpha Course come to an end. Well, we should celebrate. So, here we are, we went to Water Front Hotel's Spinnaker Restaurant for buffet dinner. WOW! so many yummy food....here are some of the pictures....

This is the end of my Tawau trip. Flying back to KK then to Labuan. I had a transit in KK for like about 6 hours. Can you imagined that? But thanks God, I get to go One Borneo for shopping. Thanks God for providing a free shutter bus which is on time to send me to 1B and also to send me back to airport. Everything was just nice. I even get to get myself a Starbucks coffee before I board the flight back to Labuan.

I was away from Labuan for one week. It's a great joy to be able to go Tawau. I'm there not to enjoy but to work. I arrived Tawau on 22 August which is a Saturday night, get to joined Siew Yun and also the Chinese CG for 'yum cha'. Get to know some new friends from the 'yum cha-ing'. The next day, I went to joined english service and after that my cousin brought me to a place called "Rasa Sayang" to have our lunch. Yeah! Get to eat my favourite "xiang di" mee hoon. So the yummy! Then in the afternoon went for the children briefing and immediately got work to do. Then after that I went to joined "walk for Jesus". Everyone meet at Basel Church Tawau.

This trip is a very blessed trip. I learned a lot of things throughout this trip and also everywhere I go...where are sure people belanja me eat...so blessed...Tawau really changed a lot. Now they have a shopping mall...called Eastern Plaza, not really big...but better than none. I went there like 3 times in 2 days....

The purpose I go Tawau is to attend a camp called 'Young and Ready'. It's a children camp. I was assigned to lead one group which I just knew when I arrived. Well, really had great fun with the kids though it's quite tiring.

Here is the craft work that I need to cut...Really Suffering You know...So tired my hand. Can you see that the "e" is so the cacat? The scissor that I borrowed is not sharp enough to cut the material...but I did it....5 sets ohh....

Went to KK to attend SOMA Conference 2009. Was asked by Jenny to help out in the registration for SOMA. Had a good time working also. Here are the pictures....

Apart from joining the SOMA Conference, I get to catch up with some old friends for yum cha at Olde Station Coffee House...an imitation of Old Town Coffee. I had 'nai cha'...it was nice though....

After the yum cha session, the four of us still sempat take pictures together...it's like almost 12am

The next is the consecraton service of the new assistant bishop, Bishop Melter Jiki Tais, a humble man of God. Then at night we had dinner at Sutera Megellan, Sutera Harbour Hotel.

After the SOMA Conference end, we drive back to Labuan, this time there's only four of us plus the driver, so siok cause there's plenty of space to moved around. Thanks Sir James for treating us a yummy Korean Ice cream too, Winter Melon Flavour. They even stopped by the road to have durians, too bad I felt a bit heaty, so didn't get to take it. I miss out the durians.

After the SOMA Conference, we have one team visiting our church for mission. We have Jack, the leader from South Africa, Philip whom I met 2 years ago uring YPS and another two aunty from ASC. I saw double rainbow!!! God is so good. He always show me double rainbow whenever I feel so down and hopeless. This double rainbow is very meaningful to me, it's my covenant with God. I always feel very encouraged when I saw this and be reminded of God's promises to me and I will definately remember it and continue to wait and pray. I believe God will bless me and guide me in all His ways. AMEN!

Be A 'In Everything Pray-er"!

This few days have been very busy. Frankly speaking, I'm tired but no matter what, the works need to be done. I'm trying to do things more faster. Learning a lot. There funeral which just end, a new task for me in handling it. Learned a lot form it. Another funeral coming up soon. CM Mission will be coming to Labuan. Have to prepare everything for them. Well, I'm bad when it comes to too many things at one time. I will freak out, so the best thing I can do it be a "In Everything Pray-er'!

Sometimes, we get too anxious about the things which is happening to us. But God says "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything. By prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God." Philippians 4:6

If we want to grow in prayer and overcome worry, we must begin by becoming an 'in everything' pray-er. Whether our request is large or small, whether our motives are mixed or pure, whether what we ask is wise or foolish, God can sort it all out. We can trust Him to respond wisely. He's not going to give us something foolishly. But we've got to learn to hold our prayer loosely and trust that if God doesn't answer it the way we want it to be answered, He knows what He's doing; He has very good reasons.

Always start your day with prayers. Now, in the admin office, we meet every morning and pray for each other. This is a good start for the day. I'm thankful that my prayer partner pray for me too and I pray for her. We uphold each other in prayers. Prayer and fasting going to start soon. It will be an exciting thing...ASAP--->Always Says A Prayer!

It's been a very long time since I update my blog. Really very busy. Time passed by so fast and it's already mid of the year. How I wish I can slow down the time. I'm back from KL for almost 2 months already. Slowly adapting to my new job and new task. Really so many things to handle till I have to pray everyday for wisdom.

This month is very special. It's the month when I'm borned to this earth 27 years ago. Well, have not really celebrated it due to too many events. But really thanks for my colleagues who bring me for lunch. Treat from them at McDonalds and a small piece of birthday cake. It's more than enough for me. I'm just to easily be contented kind of person. And my CG...also celebrated my birthday together with all the July Birthies. Thanks to everyone who greeted me too. I'm happy.

Well, this month is also the month of baptism. Really happy to see people being baptized. They are so excited. This is also my first time witnessing sea baptism. One of CG members are going to be baptize--->Alice. We are very happy for her and planned a picnic at the beach to celebrate her baptism. Well, before the baptism, many things happen...I guess it is not a coincident, and I believe the evil one is not happy, that's why caused so many things to happen.

Finally, I'm back to labuan. After 4 months away. Time really passed by so fast. When I reflect back what I have been doing in Sunway, I wanted to give thanks to God for everything. He has been there for me at all times. Well, I guess for me to failed my last subject and going back to retake is not a bad thing after all. There are so many people who encouraged me throughout the whole time. I also met with a lot of people and bring them back to Christ. Will continue to pray for them. God will surely bless them.

Everything changed when I back to Labuan. I even got a new job task. Now trying to adapt to my new job. It's good to be home, can see my families everyday. So blessed! I guessed I've changed, I pray more now than I did before this. Every single thing make me want to pray. Give God a prayer to answer and He will answer it. Our Responsibility is to pray and God's job is to answer. I read this from a devotional material. Very encouraging.

Today is my last day in Sunway. Took the whole morning to do cleaning and packing. Went to last service in FCC. I'm going to miss FCC! After service, Ying Foong's family wanted to treat me for dinner, to thanks me for helping their daughter. Uncle bring us to The Ship to eat. It's my first time there. Never had a chance to go there to eat due to it's too expensive.

Today is a special day! It's David and Shirley's wedding day. Shirley is my first cell leader back in Labuan. She is also one of the person who inspired me to accept Christ and also to serve God. She is my role model even until today. I'm happy for her on her big day. Prayed for her, too during the wedding. Didn't get to take picture with her due to had an appointment with someone.

After the wedding, I went to watch movie with a special friend. The timing was just right cause I prayed about it. We watched Fast and Furious 4. The movie was great! Both of us enjoyed the movie. After that we went to dinner together. He treat me an expensive dinner. A yummy JD Steak. Nice! We talked and shared a lot of things with each other. Suddenly the lights went off, romantic? haha...Will never forget this memorable day!

Wow, I have too much appointment already and I felt a little tired. This makes me gone blur the whole day yesterday. So, I make a decision not to go on any appointment with anyone today. I did a lot of things, wash my clothes, clean the house and also went for a haircut. Very expensive haircut. I got all my highlights all trimmed away. Finally! Wow, really like the hair stylish who cut my hair, he really put in all his effort in cutting away all my highlights. He did it one by one. I'm so impressed. Other than that, the shampoo girl was good too and her massage is the best. Really had a tiring haircut, it took me like 2 hours plus to finished my hair. Make me fall asleep. I went to get my favourite Magic Coffee and get some Jasmine tea for VT and Graise. Waited for VT to come to fetch me, then we went to Secret Recipe to had our dinner. I had Shephard Pie.

Had a date with VT today. VT purposely take leave off to accompany me and also at the same time settle some of her stuffs. We went for breakfast at "Ming Tian' near to The One Academy. We had dim sum for breakfast. The dim sum is very nice. Then VT went to settle her stuff then we head off to KL, to a Christian book store to get some books. We got hungry and went for high tea at B. Bee Tea House which is located in Sungei Wang. Then we had TGIF for dinner. Yum Yums!

Malacca Trip

Finally, my exam is over. Hooray! MERDEKA!!! After finished my exam on 23 April 2009, I went for Malacca trip together with Shuk Fong (SF), Brooke, Vivi, Ivan and Donald. SF and also Brooke drive with Vivi and me following SF while Ivan and Donald followed Brooke. Praise the Lord for bring us safely to Malacca. It's my fourth time going to Malacca and the second time leading the way to Malacca. The first time I ever lead someone to Malacca was bringing my friend's parents and her brother for medical check up at one of the private hospital there. My friend are from Indonesia, she is not free when the time they came. So, I bring them there, haha....by faith. I don't know the way but I am praying hard for God to lead the way. Praise The Lord we are able to make it to that place without even getting lost.

The first time I went there, I get to visit the historical place but never had the chance to visit Jonker Street. This time we overnight one night there.

Well, appart from visiting Malacca, I learned something throughout this journey. God is always good, no matter where I go, He is always there and He always speak to me. It was night time in Malacca, me and SF went our way while Brooke bring Vivi, Ivan and Donald to visit the historical places there since it's their first time visiting that place. Malacca have a very weird road, where every where there's only one way, if you're not familiar with the place, you will surely need to make a big turn to get to the right place. Me and SF plan to walk to find the famous Satay Celup to eat. That place is called 'Capitol'. It's being advertised in one of the Food Programe named 'Ho Chak'.

We walked liked 2 hours by feet to find the right place. Went through few satay celup stall but it's not the right one. We never give up although my feet are tired and painful. We end up going back to get the car and another one mor hour of driving to find Capitol. I prayed that we will find this place. We almost give up but I told SF, lets give a last try and then we found the place.

We reached there by 9.30. That place is so famous that you can see people queuing up to wait or their turn to eat. When we arrived there, there are 4-5 group of people queuing up in front of us. Best of all, I met a very good friend of mine, Wai Choon and also his girlfriend. Wow, the world is so small, even we can meet in Malacca. Well, it reminded me that life's journey is never easy and it's tough. But as long as you continue to walk this tough journey, God will guide you, same as what He says in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. It's Monday again. I'm always excited about monday because it's me and VT date with God. Haha...it's our prayer time. Really blessed to have VT as my prayer partner, my all time supporter who always support me from behind. Prayer are very important and having someone to pray together with you is totally a big encouragement. I'm going to miss our prayer time when I go back to Labuan. Really enjoy seeing how God answered our prayer one by one, and having to put a tick at our prayers and laugh for joy. Totally AWESOME!!!

Today I didn't went to Sunday service. Stay at home to rest and also do revision. VT and Graise came to pick me up for lunch. But VT need to go to IRB to settle her income tax first. So, we waited for her. Then we went to Pappa Rich to have our dinner. I've passed by this restaurant for so many times but never have the chance to try the food. Indeed the food is very nice although it is a bit pricey. I'm satisfied with the food. Yum Yums!

Went to joined Senior Citizen Gathering again. It was fun. Today, the senior citizen is going to share their testimonies. Some of the aunties really share a good testi. I'm touched by their sharing. Aunty Annie got me to back her up in worship. I was actually having flu that time. My voice must be very weird but I enjoy it. Other than that, we also learned a new song, a Cantonese Christian song titled '主信实无变'. It's not easy to find this song as I search for quite a long time to find the MP3. Praise The Lord I finally found it. The food was nice. Thanks to all the church staff who have prepared the food.

Then at night, Orang Sabah treat me dinner at Kota Kemuning. It's my first time going that place. It looked so much like Taipan. Sort of a new town. We had Porridge+Herbal Soup Steamboat. It was very Yummy and price are reasonable. We went to Taipan to have a walk there. Stopped by at Station 1 Cafe to relax and have a drink. Environment was good because there are people singing and best of all there is someone playing the keyboard. This really make my day.

Accompany Orang Sabah to IRB, Shah Alam to do her e-filling. First time going there. Well, she gave me some maps which really didn't help much. In the end, we just based on faith and pray for God to guide us to the right direction. Yeah...we make it to the right place. Praise the Lord! Prayer always worked. We had our lunch at a nearby shopping mall called SACC Mall. We went to Secret Recipe. I still thinks Ikea's meat ball is still the best.

Today went to join 'Overcoming Stress and Depression' course. It is a one day course conducted by Jayzee. It's a very good course and I really learned many things from this course. Another reason why I join this course are also to help those in need. Well, didn't know I will need to faced someone who are having depression. It really shocked me because it is one of my close friend from college. I believe God will heal her.

Saturday my uncle were here together with his wife for one week. So, went to meet them on Sunday. He told me they wanted to visit Putrajaya. Well, it is my first time going to Putrajaya using public transport and bringing them there. Well, the weather is so hot that day. We reach there quite late. I was praying like mad cause I don't really know how to go to Putrajaya using bus. Checked on the website and roughly know which bus to take but end up didn't see any of that bus passing by the place where we waited. We changed a lot of waiting place and got us all mad and hungry. Well, through prayer we still reached Putrajaya. That's the power of prayer. Praise The Lord! My uncle bring us to the Cruise Tasik. Here are some of the pictures I've taken.

Really had a very tiring day traveling here and there. We went to KL, Duta Vista Exercutive Suit to stay with my uncle and aunty. We reached Mid Valley like 10pm. It was late and we were very hungry and very tired. Thanks God I still remember that Mid Valley have some restaurant opened till 12am. It was just outside of Mid Valley and opposite of The Gardens. We went to Kim Gary to have our meal. Yummy! Ordered my favoured food again ~ Beef Baked Cheese Rice.

Today, quite busy caused I joined Aunty Annie Kok to visit a Cancer Patient in Pantai Hospital in Bangsar. Aunty Annie is from Christ Church Likas, I knew her when I stayed at AD John house for one month. She is one of the full time staff there. Now, she moved to Sunway and currently serving in FCC as a full time staff. Wow, this is really all God's plan for me to join her. Aunty Annie share with me on Saturday that she is praying for someone to accompany her to do hospital visitation. Previously her husband was free and accompany her, but now that her husband finally found a new job, she has to do it alone. I went to look for her after service on Saturday night and told her that I wanted to join her for visitation. She is so glad cause she is not that familiar with the roads and directions in KL and God send answered her prayer by sending me.

Our first visitation was to visit a sister from the chinese service called Esther. She is suffering from lung cancer. She asked me to pray before we set off from FCC. She asked me have I been to Pantai Hospital, Bangsar before? I told her I never go there but I knew Bangsar is near to Mid Valley. So, I pray by faith that God will guide us to the right place. We got a bit lost in Bangsar cause I am not familiar with the place and she is first time there. I have to be the one to direct her. So, again by faith I direct her and Praise the Lord we reach our destination. Some more we reached there on time when the hospital are open for visitation at 12pm. Really just on time. Then I told her, when we pray, God will surely show us he way there though we might not know where is that place.

I really learned a lot from Aunty Annie. She is very hospitable and she is a strong woman of God. He talk like we are friends, she is really like a mother to me. She share a lot to Esther. Esther mum told us that she is very different then she usually does. She listen to the sharing and agree by nodding her head. I was there silently pray for her as she share. Then I felt the presence of God in the room and I saw peace in Esther face. Well, sad to say, she passed away 6 hours after we visited her. When I received the news, I was stunt, then tears just came into my eyes. Felt a little bit sad but I believe she is with the Lord now. While Aunty Annie was sharing to her, it sor of also speaks to me. Thanks God for this aunty. She is very nice, she brought me to a restaurant called Chatter Box 港士港绯 to eat cause she say the food there is very nice and yummy.

After our lunch then we have to go back Sunway again by faith. So, we trust God to guide us back. I was in the car there praying like don't know what. Haha! Indeed God really help me to direct her to the right way and we reached Sunway safe and sound. I went to Ps. Yee Shong house to help her with some house cleaning It was great doing house cleaning. Enjoying it. Also enjoy the time spend with the two little cuties, Zhan Zhan and also Yue Yue.

Walk to Pyramid to wait for Grace to come and pick me. Then we all went to 'Take A Break' to have our dinner. I am fasting meal, so I only had a drink, Ice Blended Tiramisu. Not bad.

Lent Season started. Today, FCC have a combined Tri-lingual Prayer Meeting. The prayer meeting as great. I was touched during the prayer. Today also the frist day of fasting. It seems like a long time since I fast. This time I fast for one meal. Really not easy...getting hungry all the time. The devotional booklet was good too. It guide us as we read the book of James which talk about Trials an Temptations.

Well, trials is a must-to-go-through life experiences. Sometimes, it just not the way we want it to be, and being force into this kind of trials does lead us to being rebellious. We get disappointed with things easily and blame ourself for the things that happen. Sometimes, things just happen for a real good reason which we might not know now, but will know it in the future. We just need to be like what James said, to have joy when we faced trials and temptations and to persevere till the end.

Let all the hardship you go through in life allowed God to lead us t a more mature growth.

Wow, it's the end of another month again. I am getting more and more lazy to update my blog. But here are some February updates from me. Really miss my home. I really really miss my family. But thanks God for my mum who are always there when I need her. Very blessed, most of the time when I am going broke and when I pray, God will surely send my mum and she normally knew I don't have enough to use and will surely bank in some allowance for me. Praise The Lord!

I miss the J-Kids a lot, recently have been chatting with some of them. They asked me when am I going back to Labuan. Well, miss them too. Children are a blessings from God. It really does make you happy just seeing them. I've joined Faith Kids here in FCC. Kids here are different from in Labuan. Labuan kids are hyperactive. Kids here are what I consider as normal. But I learn many things from the teachers and also helper. Get to know Huey Yue, Jonathan, Tina, Lee Juen, Jun Hao (the leng zai) and brought in Peter to join the team as well.

Today me, Vui Theng and also Chanel went to Raphah for Accidents and Traumas Healing Ministry. It was great we learn of the caused of the traumas which bring fears to us. Now I know why until now I still can't drive. When I go back Labuan, I will make sure I start driving and overcome the fear. Apart from there, we also learn how to help those who went through accidents and traumas. This is a good course. The coming course that we ae going to join will be 'Understanding and Overcoming Depression'. Interesting! Not that I have depression, just that I am surrounded by friends who have depression. I think joining this will give me some guidance to help them.

After the course, we didn't get to make it for saturday night service but we still went to church. Before we go church, we went to Old Town to have our dinner. Yummy!

Jovina's mum invited me and VT to join them or dinner. We went to Salmon steak to have out dinner. It was great, Thanks Aunty! Then we went to RT buy some bread and then we went to Subang Parade to walk around. Shop almost close during that time. Then VT suddenly thought of today is tuesday and Swensen have 50% offer on ice cream. Yummy! We took the Earthquake Ice cream. There's 8 flavour.

Wow, Valentine's Day is coming soon. Sunway Pyramid just taken down their CNY deco and now they are hanging some cutie nice Valentine's deco. This is one part that is finished. The stage is still in the progress.

Well, I am actually home sick. I miss my family a lot. But thanks God for my mum for calling me all the time. I miss the J-kids. I miss my work place. I miss my home church and of course not forgetting the most important one my beloved cell group Lions 2. How could I be dare enough to forget them...haha! Today we did BBQ Steamboat at my house. It was great. There's only four of us ---> me, my cousin, Brooke, my brother, Joshua and my housemate, Wen Jun. Tzu Bin was suppose to join us but he cannot make it. The food was nice...especially the korean beef...yummy. Thanks to Brooke for marinating it. I will definately go for second round again. We had 'Kwai Fei Lychee' liqueur mixed with Sprite. It tasted nice. I didn't go high and drunk. All of us just take one shot only. It's more that enough for us cause my housemate need to work tomorrow. We also end the night early since Brooke not feeling well and Wen Jun needs to get some sleep already. I try to finished off with the cleaning again and oppss....accidentally knocked down one of the glass in my toilet and there it goes down into pieces. Too bad! I thought I can finished clearing everything and get my rest. Haihz...still need to cleaned up the mess. Poor Toby, he got a bit of shock when the glass fell, he try to see if anything wrong with me. Thank God I didn't really get hurt, just a small tiny bit of glass cut my finger....ouch! And there goes my ang paos money...to buy a new glass....:(

Today is the fourth day of Chinese New Year, nothing special, I stayed at home on the second day of CNY til today. Toby was at home, too. He has become my best friend during this holiday. He is also very 'sienz', missing Marco. My housemate are asked to babysit Toby for one week while Marco went back to Tawau. Toby has been behaving good all the while. Really loved him. I will miss him when he go back...So sad uhhh....

Today also not so bad afterall, went to Mid Valley to meet up with Hirai in the afternoon, we have lunch together. Really long time didn't see him and sit down to have a talk with him. We went to Kim Gary to have our lunch and we share a lot. After that we went to KL Sentral to have Coffee Bean, Hirai treat me. Thanks brother. Accompanied him wait for bus to LCCT. We meet up with Hirai's friend who study in Japan with him last time. He's a nice guy, his name is Darren, very gentleman, he offered to send me back to Subang Ville from KL Central cause he say not safe for a lady to walk home alone, haha...so blessed, no need to walk ohh....in KL every where we go we have to walk. But good exercise for me.

Apart from taking care of Toby, I also helped Ivan to take care of Chu Chu, which is a Sugar Glider (flying squirrel). He eats worms, apple and also raisins. At the same time also helped Aaron to take care Akuma, which is a Tarantula, a big spider, something which I scared the most. Need to feed him worms and also spray water to him. But after this few days feeding them, I'm not scared of the worms already, even not that scared with Akuma. Good also, can overcome my fear for spider.

Today is the first day of Chinese New Year, went to Peter and Rinny house to visit. Get some angpaos from them. Happy! At least I still get some angpaos. After that, went to Tesco for some shopping.

Next week will be the end of my honeymoon. Really need to start studying already. Thanks God that I still have group member. God really provide when we asked from Him. I was afraid that I will have no member for my group assignment. I need to be more discipline in my food, too. Eat too much of unhealthy food this few days. Mission Possible! Today VT and also Gab went back home town, Graise going back tomorrow. Ivan, Vivi and Aaron already went back too. Thanks God my brother and my cousin and also one of my housemate still around, if not really don't know what to do. Today, we went to the House of Groomers Academy and Pet Salon. Wow! It's almost the end of the month of January already. I really can't believe it, time really passed so fast. I only have 3 more months for honeymoon. Well, it is so happening in Sunway, really unlike in Labuan where I always sleep early and stay at home every night. Here I only attended one service, well sort of like taking a short break from serving and more to spending more time with God. Last Sunday went to Uptown together with Vui Theng and also Graise to eat our lunch then we went to the Butique around there to shopping. Then at night we went to Steve Corners at OUG there...wow...first time go...heard this place like for coupled of years already but now only got chance to go. Great and nice place to eat. Yummy!

Today quite a sad day cause received a sad news that Sng's brother passed away yesterday due to an accident. Me and Vui Theng went to pay respect and comfort the family together with some of the FCC members. It was my first time attending a Buddhist kinf of funeral. Well, I've already expected the situation but don't really know how it is. So, when on the way to that place, I prayed so hard in my heart. When we reached that place, the monks were chanting there non-stop. They are having ritual prayer till the next morning and then will moved on for burial. The situation there really scare me a little though I keep praying non stop too. When we reached home, Vui Theng prayed for both me and her for peace. Felt so much better after that. Thanks God that I have the opportunity to experience it.

Today, I'm going to join the Share Group. In FCC, we don't call it Cell Group. It's different, here they dun use the 5Ws but it is more to sharing our personal lives and more closer to each other. Before going to Share Group. I met Vui Theng in Sunway Pyramid for dinner. Yay! Carl's Junior. They have the best french fries I have ever tasted.

Suppose to walk over to Bidara to meet Jean Tan for Share Group (SG). By the way, I joined Jean Tan's SG. It was raining then I called Joel to picked me up. This is actually a chinese SG and most of the members are from chinese service. We call this a Mamak SG. Kewl huh? We meet up at mamak for SG. It was great to know each and every one of them. They are so welcoming. They even asked me whether I will still continue to join the SG...Well, definately a yes! The most enjoying time was during accompanying Joel to send Xin Yi and also Jian Wei back their home. I can't believe they are so open an so crazy. They were like talking non stop in the car and we were like laughing non stop in the car too. Well, really happy to know them though it's only for 4 months. I believe I will be blessed in this SG and also be a blessings to them too.

After SG, meet up with Brooke, Vivi and Ivan for Karaoke again. We went to a newly opened Karaoke at Pyramid. It was cheap. It's only RM5++ per person. We really enjoy the singing.

Today, my house got two visitor. Ok, welcome Chris Tan back to Malaysia. He is back for holiday...haha..he gained a little bit of weight already but stil looking 'leng zai' ahh...Another more exciting visitor. Marco's cute little doggy, Toby. Settling Down

Wah....so busy settling down in Sunway that I really got no time to blog. I'm off from work for 4 months on a study leave and praise the Lord it's a paid leave. Back here to retake my last subject, I waited one year just to retake this one and only last subject for my degree. Time passed so fast. Things are great in Sunway. I'm currently staying at Subang Ville, rented a room here. Praise the Lord for two good house mates from the same church, Wen Jun and also Alvin. The house is so clean and tidy. Wow, guys nowadays really know how to do house chores. Other than that, this house is really warmth and beautiful, will ty to upload some pictures next time.

Well, class started. There are assignment to do already plus end of the semester I will have my final exams. Can you imagine you have stopped studying for one year and now trying to pick up on studying again? Gosh! That is so hard but I have to make sure I pass this paper no matter what. Thanks God for those who are there to encourage me and also to pray for me. Really need it. Thanks a bunch! Today, in the afternoon, something funny happened. My 'Kai Di', CK sms and ask me to help web check-in for him. He is late for his 3pm flight to Singapore. He told me he is now on the way rushing to LCCT and can only reached there by 2.30pm. I really got a heart attack helping him web check it. Worse thing is, there is no international web check-in available. I asked him to try to check in there at LCCT and at the same time pray so hard for him to be able to make it. He was blurred when he reached LCCT, called to ask me where is the check in counter and what can he do. I just ask him to try to find the counter and try to check in and Praise The Lord, he is able to make it. He told me that the lady at the counter told him he is too late and the counter closed already but still don't know why, they still let him check in. I guess this is the power of prayer. I hope to see my 'kai di' go church soon. Which this has been a great testimony to him already.

Tonight went to Major Theodore house for Labuanites gathering. It was fun! We so much food annd watch movies together in his house. It's been a long time since we see him. Major Theodore was one of my Youth Leader in Labuan. He is indeed a great and strong leader who disciplined us well. Thanks God for him.

It's New Year 2009. Wow! I can't believe it. One year have passed. 2nd January 2009 will be my one year of working with COHS. Time really passed by so fast. I want to give praise and thanks to God for all the things that He has bring me through, be it the good or the bad ones. Go through a lot of ups and downs. I read a very good book which encourages me a lot.

Are we willing to risk, give up and endure to follow the true God by faith? Well, I guess it is not easy and is it not impossible too for impossible = i'm + possible (I'm Possible!) Kewl huh? Got this from Kelly Chan. He He! Well, sometimes giving up is not a bad thing also cause I know God had His own good and perfect plan. We need to look to God for courage. Trust in Him. Believe in His ability to deliver us. Boldly travel through life and its trials with God as our ultimate Guide!

This year will be a year of breakthrough for me. I will be going to KL for four months. I believe everything happened for a reason and I do believe that there must be something God want me to learn and go through so that I can be a blessings to the people around me.

There are some challenges I need to face this year and I'm going to make sure I do it this time and take the step of faith to overcome the fear.

Power Point Training

Today I had my Power Point Training for some of the J-Kids (English) teachers. I was so nervous as this is my first time giving training to the teachers. I prepared some short notes for them which are step by steps. I really hope they are able to master it in no time since I will not be in starting from January 2009. I will be away to KL for four months. Well, praise the Lord that 3 teachers turned up and they learned quite fast. I even taught them how to setup the settings from Laptop to PA and from Laptop to Projctor. It was fun anyway.

This day is Risma Sari Cristanty Pakpahan and Malcolm Wong's big day. It's their wedding day. Crist, you are now known as Mrs. Wong already...ain't you proud? You have been waiting for this day to come for so so long. Cristanty has been my best international friend while I was in Nilai. She is from Indonesia. She had been there to encourage me when I'm down. We shared so many things together and watch movies together in my room and not forgetting going to "Aunty Aini's" to have our meal. I even get to spend time with her family members while they were in Malaysia and bring them to Malacca, with Rynold, Crist's brother driving. I get to know Crist from Malcolm. We were working part time in the restaurant. Really miss out the fun time and the precious moment we had with each other. Really felt so bad that I can't even get to attend her wedding due to too many events coming up during this Christmas season. The Lions 2 CG have our Christmas caroling in this three days. It was fun, although we felt so tired. I'm the guitarist for the caroling. Have been playing guitar for three days until I can feel my hands shaking and a little bit of pain. We visited about 9 house in this three days time, we also eat a lot of things in this three days time. Didn't really get to take much picture due to I need to hold the guitar all the time. Need to take care the guitar because it belongs to one my CG member. We will be meeting again on this coming monday to discuss our Christmas Gathering on 26 December 2008. Today is the J-kids Christmas Party. Well, I am so stressed up preparing fo this part due to I have been asked to do the games. I really pray hard to God for some ideas. I'm so happy today cause today is my best friend, Shirlyn Loi Teck Ming's wedding. Actually I felt guilty that I didn't get to go to her house to become 'ji mui'. We knew each other since when we were in primary six, can you imgine that we have been best friend for 14 years? Even her english name Shirlyn are given to her from me. Well, although she is not a Christian but I thanks God that she can still be understanding when I told her that I need to canceled off the "ji mui' gathering at her house one day before her wedding due to some works in church. I hope one day God will touched her heart and she will turn to God. God bless my friend....

The J-Kids Camp 2008 Committee members had our evaluation at Pulau Labuan. Wow, it was great! We had really yummy food, at the same time we also celebrated Alex, Joanne and Lorna's Birthday which is fall on December. We were half way in our evaluation and the restaurant is closing at 10pm. Sorry for not updating my blog, really takes me a long time to update. This few weeks really busy. I have been away from Labuan for 5 days, 24-28 November 2008. I have been attending the Children Worship Conference in All Saints Cathedral, KK. It's totally AWESOME! It's my first time taking the children out of Labuan and it is also my first time leading the aunty and uncle together with the children. I really learned a lot from this trip. There 11 children from Labuan attended this conference. Is a great challenge for me as this group of children are a bit hyperactive. It really gives me some nerves to get them to listen. Time flies so fast and it's already december, 22 more days to year 2009. Many things happened for the past 11 months, good and bad altogether and I still want to give thanks to all the things that had happened. Praying always does the things. Today, I had a date with Kelly Chan. Hehe...Happy Birthday girl...we had a good time sharing and eating in Mc Donald in Labuan. It's great, both of us brought along our laptop. Thanks sis for encouraging me to drive. I will make sure I can drive next year when I get back to Labuan.

I had a chat with a brother. He shared a video clip with me. Before watching this clip. Do read the article below. It is a very encouraging video and it made me in tears. This is a true story:

It's been a long time since I update my blog. November and December has been a busy month for me. Roy Tingzon was here in Labuan. Knew him while I was in Tawau for one month, it's few years ago. Back then, he was one St. Patrick Church's staff. He is super duper good in drum and also guitar. He is currently studying in STS, KK and are now having his practical in Labuan. It's a great privilage to be able to have him teach us on playing drum. I signed up in the drum class, first, I thought me, Winnie and also Mendry only signed up. Who knows, the respond is so good, we even have people as young as 8 years old to join in the learning.

Basically, some of us are learning from zero, meaning we don't know anything at all. After the drum class. I know how to play quarter beat, 8 beat and also 16 beat. Too bad, I need to miss the second class. I miss the test, so sad...Roy say I failed...haha. Below are some of the pictures during the drum class:

It was a tiring day for me and also a stressful week for me. It's one more week to J-Kids Camp and also Children Worship Confence. I have been busy preparing for all the upcoming events and I hardly got time for other things. Tonight, my CG go for an outing, dinner at bistro and follow by movie. It was great! I met a new friend. We ate in Bistro beside Utama Jaya. The food was nice although a bit pricey. We went to watch James Bond movie. This movie is boring, action is too fast and I can't get mush of the scene. I also don't know what is it all about and I end up falling asleep in the small cinema. Well, not bad that Labuan still have a small cinema. It's my first time watching movie there. I will give it 3 star. Well, the night outing really made my day. I felt more relax and all my stress are released. I found myself being so high "I" that moment. Thank You Lord!

Always Says A Prayer (ASAP)

God is good all the time! Well, today is my 22nd day of waking up early to pray and do devotion. This is a great breakthrough for me. I am not a discipline person and waking up early in the morning to pray and spend some time with God and to forgone my beauty sleep is really a hard thing for me to do. Well, this few days I did struggled to get up but I still forced myself to wake up. There's so many people who needed prayer and I got a whole list of them in my prayer list. Out of a Sudden, I thought of a friend of mine whom I bought to church few years back, got too aggresive to bring her to church and she end up ignoring me. It was a sad story.

Well, this few days I never stop praying for her and finally few hours ago, she smses me and guess what? She say she felt like sms-ing me, I asked her why? After almost 2 years not contacting each other, I felt weird. She say she doesn't know why she suddenly thought of me and wanted to sms me. I told her it must be God. Well, I seriously think it is God who is doing all this things.

I remember few years back while I was still studying in Nilai. I had a misunderstanding with my housemate, whom is my best friend in the house. Well, we had a small argument and we end up not talking to each other for 3 months. Can you imagine staying at the same house and sseing each other every day and not talking at all. We even went to the same cell group. Well, I was hurt and I'm also sad. I guess the worse thing that I won't it happen in my life would be to loose a friend. I pray like mad every day about it and finally, after 3 months, we spoke to each other. Our friendship is even better than we use to be and I thank God for that.

Well, it does takes some time when we pray about something...it can take 2 years, it can take 3 months or it can just take awhile. Everything is possible and miracles do happened if we choose to believe and trust in God. All God need from us is just the trust and the patient. Prayer is very important. Ps. David Thien says, "if you want to get married, better start praying." Well, indeed it is true. Never stops praying, you will see some changes on the way.

Recently, the Christians in India are being persecuted. Please pray for all the Christians in India. The VHP has plans to kill all Christians in Puri District of Orissa. Let us fast and pray to Jesus for His intervention and protection of His people.

Dear Lord,

I uphold all the Christians in India unto Your hands. Even during this time of suffering and pains, You will walk together with them and help them seek You more. Let whatever things that happen bring them closer to You and increase their faith. I may not know why all this happens but I believe God, You will look after all our dear brothers and sisters-In-Christ there. Lord, I crush the enemy under my feet, trampled on them and destroy them in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let them have no authority to destroy the lives of Your people. Lord, I ask of You to give our dear brothers and sisters peace and joy even throughout the time of trial and help them as they endure hardship and standing firm for You. I pray this in Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Together Gether We Walk!

Why 'Together Gether We Walk'? Well, if you check in the dictionary there is not such word as together gether, it's just a word I made up. Well, recently so many things happen to me and it not only affected me, it also effected some of the people close to me. Sometimes, it is so hard to bear. We asked, 'why must I bear this pain?' Well, all I can say is I also cannot tell, but I know my Lord does all things well and I am definately going to trust in Him for I know He will surely bring me through whatever that may come my way.

In order to get out of this horrible negative thoughts that keep coming into my mind which really pulls me down, I make a decision to wake up at 4am to pray everyday and today is my 8th day. I can tell you that I see a lot of breakthrough in my life. I am able to handle things well now with God guidance. Even my negative thoughts have become positive thoughts. More stronger to stand firm and more determine to pray for not only myself but also others. I really find the joy of doing so. Well, waking up at 4am is not easy, I pray and asked God to give me the strength to wake up.

Thank God I am not alone. I am praying together gether with my prayer partner. We learned a lot of things from each other, even from the first time we become prayer partner until now. She has been there to support me in almost everything and I support her, too. I really thank God for her and we shall walk together gether and never give up. YEAH!

My New Toy

Yeah, my new toy finally reached! I guess everyone has been wondering what is this new toy that I'm waiting for. Well, it's my new laptop and it's pink in colour. Well, this laptop is a blessing from God. My uncle bless me with it. I', even given the opportunity to choose whatever good laptop that I want without any budget, but still I try to keep it affordable. I really pray hard for a laptop due to my PC spoiled when I shipped my stuffs back to Labuan from KL. It was a sad story but God restored my lost and bless me with a better one. I guess sometimes certain things just need to go in order for God to bless us a better one, this include letting go of it. If we are not willing to let go, just like our hand, holding on tightly something, if we don't opened up and let go what we are holding on, God can't bless us with something better. So, trust God at all times and include God in everything, even the smallest and simplest thing you can think of cause everything is Spiritual and God can make something happen when you pray.

Transformers Risk

Sorry for taking so long to update my blog, really busy this few days. Today is a very exciting day cause at night our CG will be having Risk Fellowship! Syok! We have been planning it for so long, ever since backed from Bungawan, but due to we are running Alpha CG now, so there's hardly anytime to play Risk. So, it happened that today is still a holiday week for most of out CG member, so we decide to play Risk at aunty Pauline's house.

The attendance was full. We had two sets of Risk, one is the standard classic Risk and the other one is the Transformers Risk. Wow, it's very complicated compare to the standard Risk. Alex even print out the rules and regulations few days earlier and ask me to study it before we play on the coming day. Well, the difference is, there's only 4 players in the game. Two Autobots and two Decepticons and we can actually team up two by two if we're playing a 4 person game. They even have a 8 sided dice to roll. Everything is just so different and you only got 6 days to play (6 rounds) and then it's the end. Well, me and my team mate, Wilson, we won the game for that night. Bravo! So happy.the game end so fast and we move on to second game using the standard classic risk. Really enjoy the fellowship. Didn't get to take much picture due to being too busy concentrating of the strategy game. But this is good, it helped make our friendship more and more closer. More of having a sense of belonging in this group already.

It's the second day of Hari Raya and guess what I did? I stay at home on the first day to rest and also stay at home in the second day to rest. But, not exactly stay at home the whole day. I went to an aunty house for Hari Raya, Yummy! She cooks the best Nasi Briyani, the best Ayam Masak Merah and also the best Rendang. I had an appointment for dinner on the night itself. Alex and Swee Lee asked me and Juana out for dinner. Haha...they are much older than we are but we don't call them aunty nor uncle. Haha...we call them Dato' and Datin instead.

Initially, we thought of going to a restaurant nearby Utama Jaya to eat western food, who knows it did not open, maybe due to Hari Raya and it was raining so heavily that night too. So, we change place and go to Waterfront Hotel to eat our dinner instead. Wow! The food there are not cheap. Alex treated me and Juana and he say we can order whatever we want and so I ordered a Tenderloin Steak, Yummy! It's cooked in a well done of 70%.

Today is my day off and it's my favourite day because it is the only day I can rest and do the things that I like but still most of the time it will be packed with some other things to do. But today I am totally free from everything, so I stay at home and since it's been a long time that i've thinking of baking a 'Quiche'...and yeah...finally I got the chance to bake one. So, here are the things you need to bake a "Sausage Quiche'.

Shortcrust pastry:

200g cold butter, but soft enough to leave a print when pressed

315g all purpose flour

15g icing sugar

1.5 eggs, lightly beaten

Filling:

Sausages

1 onion, chopped

250ml milk

2 tbsp mayonnaise

2 eggs

salt (according to your taste)

Dash of black pepper

Method:

To prepare shortcrust pastry:
1.Sift flour and icing sugar into a mixing bowl.
2.Rub in butter with hand, or by using the paddle attachment of your mixer on low speed, until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
3.Add in the egg gradually. Observe the change in dough consistency. Do not be tempted to add in all the egg if not necessary. Mix just until the pastry begins to form large lumps.
4.Press together gently with your hand until the pastry forms a ball.
5.Chill pastry dough for about 30 minutes to 1 hour to relax the dough.
6.Grease tart moulds.
7.Prepare filling while chilling dough.

To prepare filling:

1.Blend milk, mayonnaise, eggs, salt and pepper with a hand whisk until smooth. Add sliced sausages, and chopped onion.
2.Chilled shortcrust pastry. Press pastry evenly into each tart mould. Trim the edges to remove excessive dough. Prick base of each tart with a fork to allow air to escape during baking.
3.Divide filling into shell.
4.Bake in preheated oven at 190 degC for 50 minutes or until brown.
5.Remove quiche from oven and let cool for 10 minutes on wire rack. Remove quiche from mould and serve. Otherwise, continue to let cool completely before storing.

Note:

Traditionally, filling of quiche contains shredded cheddar cheese. For an even richer filling, cream can be used to replace part of the milk. I have omitted cheddar cheese and cream due to the calorie contents but added in mayonnaise for a little complication in taste. Enjoy trying!

I guess I take a very long time to update my blog. Due to the busy day. Finally, I uploaded my blog with pictures again. Well, after coming back from Borneo Resort, Bungawan on 13 September 2008, I went to Holy Cross Church, Kuala Sapi on Monday which is 15 September 2008. Holy Cross is one of COHS partner church. They will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary. We went there to support and celebrate together with them. It was a great journey. Before we make our way to Kuala Sapi which is located somewhere near to Sandakan and also Telupid, we stop by at Christ Church Likas to pass something to Archedeacon John. So, while I was there, I got the chance to take some pictures of the church decoration. They are doing decoration for the Mooncake Festival Celebration on the night itself.

The Jeruk...well, this is my most horrible experience...but, at least there is a first time. Can you see the picture? It's all jeruk, they even have Wild Boar Jeruk...they jeruk it with rice and salt for one week, can you imagine the smell? I don't think you would like to eat it but i tasted it cause it is a mission and to show some support to the Kuala Sapi people, I actually ate it...thank God I didn't get Diarrhoea.

The Lions 2 CG have our Alpha Holy Spirit Weekend Away in a very deserted place somewhere between Menumbuk and also Beaufort on the 12-13 August 2008. It's my 7th month with the CG and I found myself still not really open up in the new cell yet cause I am those type who are reserved and not easily trust people. My boss gave me a choice to choose any CG I want to join except the young adult CG and my parents CG. So, I pray about it and God show me this CG. This CG consist of people from all ranged of age, there are aunties and uncles, some working adults and I happened to be the youngest in the CG. Topic they talked sometimes really don't interest me and always make me sleepy cause they normally talk about stock money and etc...you got what I mean?

Well, after the Alpha Weekend Away, everything changed. Our relationship become stronger and closer and I am more opened up and now only I know my cell group are crazy. I love to be with them now. Here are some of the picture I took during our trip.
