Pray Like Nehemiah

Praise The Lord! God really listen to our cry when we pray. I really learned something from YPS, and yes, I bring it back to my church and applied it here. In the YPS, God helped me know what is my spiritual gift, well, it's a double confirm of my spiritual gift. It's intercession! I was having this struggle of whether to join Worhsip Ministry or Intercessor Ministry. I pray about it and God say Intercessor ministry. So, I obeyed Him and joined the Intercessor. That was one week before I went to YPS. Then, only I know that my gift was on intercessor. Yeah, I didn't make the wrong choice of joining Intercessor Ministry.

Things are getting tougher and tougher each day, I even faced spiritual attacks during YPS, well, I also found out that I am not the only one facing the attacks, even my roomates also facing attacks. We uphold each other in prayers and encourage each other. Thank God for them. I really learned a lot on prayers. I was sharing with one friend, when he told me that many are called to served God, but not many of them have the willing heart and a heart that cries for God's people. One thing that I learned from this friend was to pray like Nehemiah, how he depended on God and his frequent prayers to Him. Nehemiah mourned and not eat for several days, he prayed to God and cried for the people. He even confessed sins on behalf of them. This really striked me, and for the past few days and weeks, I have been practising this kind of prayer ever since. Even last saturday, I went for intercessor prayer meeting, one of the uncle leading, say he saw vision and that we should pray and cry to God, he asked us to kneel with out hands together both lifted up as a sign of bringing all the burdens to God, which is exactly as in his vision. I did it, and I lifted all my burdens to God, EVERYTHING that has been bothering me. Wow! I really felt great peace after lifted everything to God.

Mother's Day Presentation Practice

Mother's Day Presentation Practice-Younger Class

One of the thing that I bring to God was the children ministry in COHS, J-Kids. Every week I went and every week I can see them fighting. There are children who don't accept Jesus and you can even hear them shouting I don't love Jesus. It really pains my heart. I really prayed and cry for them, and guess what, yesterday, the children ministry have a breakthrough, the two most naughtiest children didn't even fight, and most intersting is, they even practice Mother's Day performance together with the rest of the children. I was so happy that I was almost in tears. God does answer prayer. Well, this doesn't mean we can stop praying now, it means that we need to pray even more.

YPS 2008

It's been almost a month since I update my blog, really busy. April have been the most busiest time for me. I was sent by church to joined Youth Pastor School (YPS) in KK from 31 March - 13 April 2008. I am away from town for two weeks and plus another week in KL, I am actually away from town for one whole month.

YPS 2008

Well, the YPS was good. There's 21 of us from all over Sabah. It's great to know each and everyone of them and we really had a good time together. We play, we pray, we sing, we dance...haha, the 16 C dance...Glory Glory Lord, We Give You Glory Lord...and not to forget, the exam. Yeah! I passed it. Wah, I tell you, the day before our exam, everyone are so stressed up. And oh ya, almost forget the most interesting thing, the marching...we sang "every where we go (everywhere we go), people want to know (people want to know), Who we are? We are the christian...haha... Here are some of the shots of our YPS gangz and the crazy things we did:

Exam Time

Devotion Time

Playing Timez

Praying Timez

Makan Timez

Visit To ASCF

Sharing Timez

Worship Timez

D' Gangz

So, the whole month of April just end like that. Well, praise The Lord! I learned many new things from YPS, and bringing it home to COHS. Serving with greater passion now.

Excited!

Vuitheng

Time flies and it's the end of February already. Tomorrow is another new month. Chinese New Year passed just like that. Well, I wanted to give Praise to God for the wonderful Chinese New Year celebration, my best friend and prayer partner came to Labuan to visit me for one week. We had a great time together, talking and talking and haha..talking. Never ending story. We went shopping and buy the same shirt although different colour (Haha...this is not the first time we buy the same shirt/dress). We even bought the same book together titled "Devotional" by Smith Wigglesworth. This book is very good, it helped to strengthens our faith, as prayer partner, we need to encourage each other in everything. God is always good, when I am down, she will be there to support me, when she is down, I will be there to support her.

The Bookmark I Designed

Darren - Hyperactive Child

Miemie - Pastor Jemmie's Daughter

I am currently involved with the children ministry in COHS, this ministry is very new to me. Well, I really learned a lot from this ministry. Teaching children are not easy. We really need to have lots of love and patient towards each of them. There are many hyperactive children there, some of them really like to stick to me, I also do not know why. Pray for God to change them. I believe they are very special and God always love them no matter what.

It's going to be the third month I worked in COHS. I really learned a lot. Become secretary is not easy, I need to be very detailed in everything, fast in action and as less mistake make as possible. Slowly getting used to the daily routines job. I find it intesting working, due to I make a decision to always start my day with devotion and spend time with God. This really works and it really make my day.

I've finally found the right cell group to attend, Selina, my cell leader is a woman of faith, really learned a lot as I join her cell group. I went to this uncle and aunty house, they have a complicated background but God saved them. Praise the Lord! I am the youngest in the cell group. Not bad lah...!! Like this cell group. Apart from that, I helped out in the UMS ministry, it's great, I feel like a student once again.

Next week I will be going for the Diocesan Children's Training, I am going together with my mum and another 5 aunties. I am excited about it. More to that, I am going to FCC dedication service on 9 March, it is a blessing for me to go cause it's sponsored by my church. So blessed, I can go KL shopping.

Victorious

Wow, time passed so fast, and it has been the second month I worked in COHS. Things are getting better and better, I still remember the first day I worked, there are so many things that I need to learn and catch up, work are always overloaded, well, I can still breathe and I am still alive. I think I am in a very comfort zone now, Chinese new year just passed, one of my brother are back from KL and another brother back from Abu Dhabi. I’m so happy, finally our family are united with each other, I felt even more ‘hang fuk’.

Vocation Camp 2008

Left-to-right: Me, Yon, Sam and Nelsquare

Nelsquare, Sam, Me and Jen

Well, challenges always come, dealing with working life is not easy. The first moment I responded to full time, I remember so clearly it is in FCC old building. I still remember which place I sit and I remember so clearly what message Rev. Khee Vun spoken that day, which make me make a decision to respond to the calling. I have been with FCC for the past 6 years, and FCC has been the place where I have grown so much, drawing me closer and closer to God. Praise the Lord that finally, FCC got its own building. I still remember how the intercessor and the whole church, we pray together for the building. We never give up and we trust and have faith in God that we will get the building and finally, we have it. YEAH!

I am facing a new year with a new challenge, thank God my prayer partner is always there to listen and to encourage me. Thanks for your prayer and encouragement sister. Although she is far, but she is always there for me whenever I need someone to talk to. I joined vocation camp last month, it was the greatest camp I have ever been through. Get to know some nice friends from the camp, we get along with each other very well. Miss them very much. In the camp, I learned many things from all the speakers, confirmed my calling and God even revealed something which I find it hard to let go, which has been a barrier between me and God, find it hard to let go but I finally, I found the courage to let go and I make my calling clear, focusing on God more. God also reveal a word to me: VICTORIOUS! Only if I can let go of what He wants me to let go and have breakthrough in my life, only then can I be Victorious. I did it…Praise The Lord!

I’m always busy with my work, at home I will prefer reading books. My collection of books really makes my house like a small library. Too bad, Labuan is a totally out of date place, they don’t have book store that have nice books for sell, I got so bored with the shops that I seldom go out of my house, I will prefer to stay at home to read books during my day off. But, praise the Lord, I knew a friend, who was my college mates who is now in US, whom blessed me with books, he even get it for me for free and delivered to me for free. I still remember few years back in college, he is still not a Christian, and really praise the Lord that he accepted Christ. Happy that I can share some of my experiences with him and introduce some nice Christian books to him and he blessed me with nice Christian books that I have been looking for a long time. Well, Labuan aren’t too bad after all, I’m currently in charge of my church resourse center, and will be doing the order of books. I can now order books I want, at least I still have books to read. Praise the Lord!

New Journey

Beginning Of A New Journey

Wow, it's the fifth day i worked. Indeed it is a blessings to start a new journey, something different for me. Learned many new things, too. This year my resolution are:

*Read the whole bible for the second time
*Breakthrough in my language
*Be submissive, obedient, trust, prayerful and faith!
*Let go of the past and moved on to a new journey and a renew life
*Closer to God, decent the Holy Spirit more...
*Learn and improve my piano skills
*Improve singing
*Prophetic prayer
*Reaching out to non believers at all time
*etc...P&C

Working life is really very different from studying. It's quite tiring and less of personal time. I try to make as much time for God as possible. I don't wish to lost my relationship with God because of busyness. My future plan has been changed. This is really out of my expectation. But i guess, when there's a need, there shall be your calling. I shall pray about it. God will always bless no matter where we are as long as we be submissive, obedient and trust in Him, there shall not be any worry. Yeah, i trust in the Lord, which means I have to bear with all the consequences and trials along the way. Persevere for the Lord for God is greatly to be praise. Well i give thanks for wonderful colleagues and boss...it's a blessings to be able to work under them. This shall be my first step of a new journey.

Happie Newie Yearie 2008

It's 11:40P.M., another 20 mintues to 12A.M. and that's the end of year 2007 and the beginning of year 2008. A new year, a new resolution a new me and a new start of everything, let go of the past and moved on to a new journey of life.

Reflection of 2007

There are many things I want to give thanks to God for a blessed year of 2007. I really thanked God that I am finally home, back in Labuan. It's been 6 years since I left Labuan to study in Nilai. I can't believed that the time passed so fast and finally I have graduated and now going to start another new journey of life. I have fought the battle which for others may be just peanuts but it is indeed something which is hard for me. Well, I have finally won the battle for God, it takes me so much pain and suffering throughout the journey and nobody can understand how tough it is, only God knows best.

Leaving Nilai has been a painful time for me since I have lead the group for so many years and seeing people come and go. It's something that I find hardest for me to let go but God has been preparing me to let go of it. I learned many new things as i lead Nilai cell, it is indeed a blessings for me. I have learned to faced rejection from people everytime I invite them to come and join the gathering, but many also accepted my invitation and came. I hope God will change them from time to time.

Praise The Lord for the FCC new building that we have been praying for so long, finally we got the building and we have moved into the new building. Although I am not there to see it but i thank God that others are able to worship there.

Thanks God for the DEYC 2007 @ Sandakan. It's an awesome camp and I really learned many things from this camp although it is a youth camp but still I am able to learn new things from this camp.

My trip to Sarawak have have also been a blessing, I have been praying for my self the few days we were travelling (with my relatives). God answered my by showing me many signs, He showed me first a sign of a rainbow when we were on our way to Miri, then when we going back to Miri from Kuching He showed me another rainbow, after that He showed me a double rainbow (two rainbow). I asked God what He wants to tell me, He told me that the rainbow represent of His promise to me, He told me that as I follow His way and His will from the beginning, He will showed me His blessings (rainbow), and when I am finishing the journey, He will also showed me His blessings too, not only that, it will be a double blessings for me. I am so touched by God's special message for me. I will always remember God's promise wheneverI see a rainbow.

The Double Rainbow I Took Along The Way

Year 2008

It's a new year. I have wrote my new year 2008 resolution in my prayer journal. Started praying for it. I will need to breakthrough some of the things which has still been hanging there, of course, by not giving up to any of it. It is a new journey for me too as I am no more a student. I will be starting work soon. It will be a different kind of test I need to go to, it may be tougher than what I have been going through but I believe for sure God will always be there for me. Give praise for a new year, let go of the past and moved on.

Footprints On The Sand

It's been a long time since i write my blog. Well, not that nothing happens but many things happened. I still have another 12 more days in KL then I will be going back to Labuan for good. I will really miss this place, especially Nilai, the place where I go through all the pains and sufferings. It is then, that God pulled me up, helped me to stand up again. I was reminded of the footprints on the sand. There's only one pair, where is the other one? Then only I realized that the footprints belongs to God and He is actually carrying me all the time.

I remember I left Labuan which is my a place of my comfort and came all the way to Nilai to study. The first time I reach Nilai, one brother brought me to FCC and also to Nilai cell, was just in time for the multiplication celebration. The cell group multiplied and I was put under Nathaneal Yong, whom is my first cell leader in Nilai. It was great, we have lots of fun together and I learned a lot from him, he left for studies then Sien Cheng take over and then it was Sng Tien Leng, all the way from Subang. I learned so many things from different cell leaders with different characters and different gifts. Then next I was called to served as the cell leader of Nilai until now and it's time to let go. It's been sad to see people come and see people go and yet I am still in Nilai. For so many years, I question God why do I need to stay so long in Nilai? He never answer me but I knew there's purpose for all this. I faced many critism, discouragement along the way, but one thing for sure that I did, that is to never give up.

There's people who say things that hurt me so badly but God has been good, that He also sent people to encourage me and support me. What will I do without God? Seriously I guess I have already give up long time ago and who knows where will I be now. I thank God for those people though they hurt me, yet I learned to forgive, those who critised me, I learned to improved to be better, those who looked down on me, yet I make myself stand up again and again and not give up. It makes me become stronger and it really tested my faith on God. Sometimes, I really don't know what God wants to do, He wants me to let go, I let go, He wants me to stay, I stay, He wants me to leave, I leave, He wants me to go, I go, I choose to obey, eventhough I need to go through all the pains and hurts but God is so good that He healed it one by one and He bring me through all things. I don't know what will happen to me in the future but I trust and have faith in God that it'll be good. Even if it is not good I will still put on a smile and trust God again. Look on the brighter side of all things and praise God for all things.

Next week I am going to have my final exams and after that I will leave KL for good back to Labuan. Well, who knows if God called me back to serve here one day. I will go wherever He called me. My life as a student will end soon and will enter into a new level and a new journey of life. I know it won't be easy, it will just gets tougher as life goes on. I will just need to bear it with joy and it does make a difference. I'm starting to miss Nilai already, miss FCC, miss pastor 's preaching which all this year had helped me to grow more and more matured, the wonderful brothers and sisters in church, my dear Nilai cell members and most of all my prayer partner who has been a great encourager to me at all times. Will miss her dearly.

Give thanks, I really want to give thanks to God for all that He had done for me. Thank You Lord!

天 使 Song and Lyrics

*This song is the theme song for the drama 'Making Miracles'
