KL Trip Day 2 (30 August 2008)
Today, I went to shopping alone at Sunway Pyramid. Vui Theng went to work liao...So, I ate brunch alone too. But I enjoy myself. I went to Kim Gary to eat my brunch. Here are some of the picture of my food...yum yum!!!

Iced Milk Tea

Borsch Soup

Baked Cheese Rice With Beef

After brunch, I went shopping at Sunway Pyramid, didn't really bought much clothes, which I use to like last time. I bought a lot of books instead. I really loved books. Really spend a lot on books. But, thanks God that church are giving us books allowance on Theology Books (any Christian Books). So, it saved me a lot.

After I done my shopping, went home and prepared for Saturday Night Service at FCC. Wow! It's been few months since I left FCC, really miss it. I enter the building and well, bad, nobody recognized me. I', just like a stranger in a new place. Well, nobody even bothered to even say hi. Well, I take the inniative to talk to my 'leng' (konco-konco) from Nilai. Really miss them and I got a shock, someone is actually driving the van. Way the go man. I am suppose to keep his name annonymous...haha. After awhile, everybody started to notice me and asked the same question, 'when you come back oh?' and I have repeatedly replying the same thing. That night was Nickson preaching. It's the first time i heard him preaching. Seems like God always know when is the right time to speak to us.

I'm feeling a little drained out and tired. Really need some recharge. Thank God for the sermons. It once again remind me of my calling. I sit there in church, thinking and reflecting back what I have gone through before I respond to my calling into full time and also presently what happen. Nickson, also mention that we all should include God in everything. This is great! I felt so much relieved and recharged. Praise the Lord!

Bible Text
And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister; and to give his life a ransom for many.
Mark 10:44-45

Reflection
Sometimes, I look at myself and the way I do things, it is not even till a high standard of perfection. Due to wanting a job being done perfectly, I stress myself too much and in the end I suffer. Well, being perfectionist is not bad, I admit I am not too much a perfectionist when it comes to work but when it comes to household things is a different story. I'm trying my best to do things more perfectly and more organized and detailed. Things we do not know, we must try our best to find out ourselves rather than wait for others to teach us. Yeah...I am learning this...

Prayer for the day
Lord, I confess that I have a high standard of excellence in my life and that I am growing daily in my level of perfectionalism. As I serve God at work and at church, I demonstrate the excellence of Jesus' name! When people see me, they see the Kingdom of God. In fact, God is happy that I am His representative because my life shows forth an excellent image of who Jesus is and what He stands for in this world. I am His representative, and therefore I do everything with the highest level of excellence! I declare all this by faith in Jesus Christ Name. AMEN!

Submission and Humility

Today devotion are very encouraging, I hope it also speaks to those who are reading my blog. Sometimes, we complained why am I here, why am I being sent to this deserted place? I am far more better than this, I deserve to be sent to a better place, a bigger place where I can show some bit of my talent there. Well, God knows our heart, the one thing that He might want us to learn will be humility. Human are weak, and the thing that will make them fall would be being too proud of themselves, sometimes, we really need to humble ourselves and not to be too proud.

Submission to leaders are also very important, God put you here in that particular place, He has His purpose and plan and even the leader are all planned by Him. Like it or not, we still need to be submissive and be obedient to leader, cause by submitting to the leader, you are actually submitting to God's plan. Well, things may not be as perfect as you think but even if you need to go through all the suffering of waiting, well, why not continue to wait patiently? We claim God's sure promise and trust in His Word, afterall God promise rainbow after the storm. We don't need to worry. Whatever God want us to do, simply just do whatever you can do and He will definately use all your efforts to further His plan, the more effort you put in, the more God will be pleased. So, doing extra things is always a blessings.

God never puts you in the wrong place to serve Him. Everything is well planned by God.

Hold On To God's Hand

Nowadays, I am getting more and more lazy to blog. Sorry, for all my readers. I guess I need to blog anyway and to have some updates. I was reminded by my own title 'Rainbow of Faith' and agian be reminded that enduring hardship can help strengthens our faith. Sometimes, it so hard to explain why all the worse things can always happens when you are serving God faithfully, you are doing everything right, you are being obedient to God's call in your life, you are reading the bible everyday and even praying at almost every minutes of the day, everything was just all about God and still you are suffering. Well, God never mention in the bible that as Christians there is no suffering, but he does encourage us to consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops preseverance. James 1:2-3

Blessed is the man who perseveres unders trial, because when he had stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

Well, my family are facing the biggest struggles ever but I believe God is always there and He will never let go of us as long as we continue to hold on tight to His hands. So, YEAH....just continue to trust in Him, there nothing which God cannot do, He can do all things.AMEN!

You Raise Me Up

Title: You Raise Me Up

Saatku Terjatuh Dan Tak Berdaya
Kesesatan Menghempit Jiwaku
NamaMu Ku Tetap Menantikan Yesus
Sampai Dia Jamah Dan Pulihkan Ku
Kau Angkatku Di Atas Gunung Batu
Kau Angkatku Melewati Badai
Ku Jadi Kuat
Karena Kau Menopangku
Lebih Dari Yang Ku Perbuat
Kau Angkatku
Di Atas Gunung Batu
Kau Angkatku
Melewati Badai
Ku Jadi Kuat Karena Kau Menopangku
Lebih Dari
Yang Dapat Ku Perbuat

I found this song while browsing through the website, this song is originated from the english song "You Raise Me Up" and the version that I found is a Indonesian version and it is a Christian Song. Very meaningful and touching. Hope it also speaks to all those who listen.

God Is Great!

God is so great! He always remind me of His promises and also His blessings through the rainbow, that is the reason why I named my blog "Rainbow of Faith". Whenever I am down or discouraged, this double rainbow always shows up, always at the right time when I need some affirmation. Just imagine how wonderful God's creation can be, the clouds, the skies, the sun and etc, it can always speaks right to your heart if you really take note of it or spend a little of your time adoring all of God's creation, you will definately find that even the small little plant can speaks to you. How wonderful!

This is a double rainbow, taken from my house, click on the image to have a better view

This rainbow picture above are taken in the mode of 'panoramaic'. The rainbow is too big, what i can do is use panorama mode to combine the whole picture. This is taken using my Z610i handphone, not bad, the handphone camera's function is even better that my digital camera. Try it, you will enjoy it.

This is a sunset view taken from UMS, Labuan

This is a very nice plant taken from Ps. Jemmie's house, look at it, it's love shape and it's purple in colour, wow! Even the plant can tell you to love...

Deuteronomy

I just ended my bible reading on the book of Numbers, wow, all the names really does get me to somewhere. But, I did learned a great deal of God and how He dealt with the rebelliousness of His people and even the leaders. Although the people rebel against Him, He still carries on with His plan and continue to use the people to do His workd of redeeming a lost world.

Now, I'm entering into a new book Deuteronomy, it's good to have some understanding of what the book we are reading before we actually start reading it. This is my second time reading the bible, the first time I finished the whole bible but with less understanding about it, especially the Old Testament. This time, I want to have some good understanding of the OT before proceed on. Thank God I had a Study Bible and also a Bible Dictionary (given by someone) for me to refer at all times which helped me a lot.

Deuteronomy are all about God's promises and the covenant. In this book, we learn to renew our covenant relationship with God and what happens if we do not. Being obedience is total allegiance to God's standards, not your interpretations. Obedience means loving people you want to hate. Obedience means destroying what has been your top priority and pleasure. Obedience means involvement in God's work and nothing else. Obedience means becoming strange in the world you now live in. This book is great, I pray by the end of the day, I will be able to truly build a stronger relationship with God and at the same time also let God speak to me through the OT.

Wonderfully Made For God's Glory!

Wow, can you imagine you can actually sin by just blogging. I almost did, but God reminded me and I hold back what I'm going to do and He reminded me that I blog not for the sake of complaining, not for the sake of talking rubbish, not for the sake of condemning others and etc but for the sake of encouraging others though it may not be applicable for everyone but at least, it can encourage others.

Well, what has been a past, we don't look back and be bother by it, but learned from what has happened. God spoke to me after everything yesterday, on the way home, I saw something beautiful, God reminded me that, the skies sometimes may look normal, it may look so sunny, it may also look ugly when the storms comes with all the lightning and rain but this is what I saw yesterday that bring me a message that says, even sometimes people can just be so imperfect but yet if you see things differently, you may see the wonders of God's creation. Everyone are present in your life with a purpose no matter what it is, so, I learned to treasure each and everyone of them no matter it is for better or for worse. Praise the Lord for the wonders of God's creation, here are some nice shot...Vy...taken it specially for you...look at the clouds...nice ooo...I know you will sure like it...the real one nicer ohh..I guess I need to improve in my photography skills..hehe..:P
