Bible Text
And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister; and to give his life a ransom for many.
Mark 10:44-45

Reflection
Sometimes, I look at myself and the way I do things, it is not even till a high standard of perfection. Due to wanting a job being done perfectly, I stress myself too much and in the end I suffer. Well, being perfectionist is not bad, I admit I am not too much a perfectionist when it comes to work but when it comes to household things is a different story. I'm trying my best to do things more perfectly and more organized and detailed. Things we do not know, we must try our best to find out ourselves rather than wait for others to teach us. Yeah...I am learning this...

Prayer for the day
Lord, I confess that I have a high standard of excellence in my life and that I am growing daily in my level of perfectionalism. As I serve God at work and at church, I demonstrate the excellence of Jesus' name! When people see me, they see the Kingdom of God. In fact, God is happy that I am His representative because my life shows forth an excellent image of who Jesus is and what He stands for in this world. I am His representative, and therefore I do everything with the highest level of excellence! I declare all this by faith in Jesus Christ Name. AMEN!

Submission and Humility

Today devotion are very encouraging, I hope it also speaks to those who are reading my blog. Sometimes, we complained why am I here, why am I being sent to this deserted place? I am far more better than this, I deserve to be sent to a better place, a bigger place where I can show some bit of my talent there. Well, God knows our heart, the one thing that He might want us to learn will be humility. Human are weak, and the thing that will make them fall would be being too proud of themselves, sometimes, we really need to humble ourselves and not to be too proud.

Submission to leaders are also very important, God put you here in that particular place, He has His purpose and plan and even the leader are all planned by Him. Like it or not, we still need to be submissive and be obedient to leader, cause by submitting to the leader, you are actually submitting to God's plan. Well, things may not be as perfect as you think but even if you need to go through all the suffering of waiting, well, why not continue to wait patiently? We claim God's sure promise and trust in His Word, afterall God promise rainbow after the storm. We don't need to worry. Whatever God want us to do, simply just do whatever you can do and He will definately use all your efforts to further His plan, the more effort you put in, the more God will be pleased. So, doing extra things is always a blessings.

God never puts you in the wrong place to serve Him. Everything is well planned by God.

Hold On To God's Hand

Nowadays, I am getting more and more lazy to blog. Sorry, for all my readers. I guess I need to blog anyway and to have some updates. I was reminded by my own title 'Rainbow of Faith' and agian be reminded that enduring hardship can help strengthens our faith. Sometimes, it so hard to explain why all the worse things can always happens when you are serving God faithfully, you are doing everything right, you are being obedient to God's call in your life, you are reading the bible everyday and even praying at almost every minutes of the day, everything was just all about God and still you are suffering. Well, God never mention in the bible that as Christians there is no suffering, but he does encourage us to consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops preseverance. James 1:2-3

Blessed is the man who perseveres unders trial, because when he had stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

Well, my family are facing the biggest struggles ever but I believe God is always there and He will never let go of us as long as we continue to hold on tight to His hands. So, YEAH....just continue to trust in Him, there nothing which God cannot do, He can do all things.AMEN!
