Borneo Golf Resort, Bungawan

The Lions 2 CG have our Alpha Holy Spirit Weekend Away in a very deserted place somewhere between Menumbuk and also Beaufort on the 12-13 August 2008. It's my 7th month with the CG and I found myself still not really open up in the new cell yet cause I am those type who are reserved and not easily trust people. My boss gave me a choice to choose any CG I want to join except the young adult CG and my parents CG. So, I pray about it and God show me this CG. This CG consist of people from all ranged of age, there are aunties and uncles, some working adults and I happened to be the youngest in the CG. Topic they talked sometimes really don't interest me and always make me sleepy cause they normally talk about stock money and etc...you got what I mean?

Well, after the Alpha Weekend Away, everything changed. Our relationship become stronger and closer and I am more opened up and now only I know my cell group are crazy. I love to be with them now. Here are some of the picture I took during our trip.

We take picture in the ferry.

When we arrived at the resort, the rooms are not ready yet due to we arrived too early, so, we end up hanging around in the conference room (the room that we are going to use for the Alpha DVD Screening and ministering time). Have a look at what we all did in the conference room.

Ho Ho...Alex...you have been busted!!

Does the table looked like those in the casino? Haha...well, we are just playing UNO lah...not the poker cards, so don't misunderstand woh...he he...

Took some Koreans eating in the restaurant. This resort seems like doing business for the Koreans because the banner are in Korean, even the buffet food are all Korean food. We met a lot of Koreans in the resort, too.

We had an early session after lunch in the conference room and end early. After that, we went back to our room.

Footprints In The Sand

I found this nice and touching song from the net. Hope it will also speak to all of you too. Life has been tough and I guess it will never gonna end. Sometimes I really wonder why it happened but only God know it best and all we need is just a little trust in Him and He will make all things right. Lord, I trust in all Your promises and I am definately gonna hold strongly to what I need to go through. It is not easy and only God knows how much tears I have shed throughout this journey of faith and thank You Lord that You have not cease to walk with me, carrying me through all the pains and sufferings, sorrow and despair. I will fight valiantly with the armour of God and the shield of faith and nothing can come against me...NOTHING!!! It only makes me stronger and much more closer to God, so Mr. S.A.Tan...I rebuke you and please get lost from my life!!!

Singer: Leona Lewis
Title: Footprints In The Sand

You walked with me
Footprints in the sand
And helped me understand
Where I'm going

You walked with me
When I was all alone
With so much unknown
Along the way
then I heard you say

I promise you
I'm always there
When your heart is
filled with sorrow
And despair
And I'll carry you
When you need a friend
You'll find my
footprints in the sand

I see my life
flash across the sky
so many times have I been so afraid
ohh yeahh
and just when I
I thought I lost my way
you give me strength to carry on
that's when I heard you say

I promise you
I'm always there
When your heart is
filled with sorrow
and despair and
I'll carry you
When you need a friend
You'll find my
footprints in the sand

when I'm weary
well I know you be there and I
can feel you when you say

I promise you
I'm always there
when your heart is
filled with sadness
and despair
ohh, I'll carry you
when you need a friend
you'll find my
footprints in the sand

Fourth Day (1 September 2008)
1 September is a holiday in replacement of 31 August 2008 (Independent Day) and since it fall on a Sunday, then the holiday is replaced on Monday. Vui Theng are on holiday, so we go 'pak toh' again..haha. This time, we went to Sungei Wang to shop and also to Lawyat (the cheapest place that sell computer stuff in KL). Before we do our shopping, we went to eat out brunch. Seems like we like to brunch a lot...haha. Below are some of the picture I took.

We went to Williams to have out dinner, me, Vui Theng, Kelly, Victor and Jovina. Yum Yum..so the fattening...can you see all the cheese?

Shogun, Sunway Pyramid

Third Day (31 August 2008)
So tired today that I spend the time sleeping. Meet my kai mui, Kelly and also KY for lunch at 面对面 at SS15. KY treat...it's nice but average only. Didn't get to take picture of the food. Afternoon, went to IKEA together with Vui Theng and meet Victor and Jovina there. It was great. I learned to apply what I learned from last night sermon about include God in everything. While me and Vui Theng are on the way to IKEA, got a phone call from Victor telling us that there is not more parking in IKEA and he is still rounding that area to find parking. Me and Vui Theng decided to go by faith, although we saw the sign outside IKEA saying FULL-No More Parking, we still drive in. We start praying and viola...we got a parking in only just 10 minutes time. Victor are still outside there looking for parking. See how God make all things happened, as long as we include Him in everything. We went to IKEA Restaurant to have our high tea. I'm still very full that time, so I shared the food with Victor and also Vui Theng. Night time again with Vui Theng go for dinner at Shogun, Sunway Pyramid. It is our dating...don't want others to disturbed us...haha. It's a Japanese Buffet Restaurant. Nice! Vui Theng treat me. Here are some of the pictures of the food I took.

KL Trip Day 2 (30 August 2008)
Today, I went to shopping alone at Sunway Pyramid. Vui Theng went to work liao...So, I ate brunch alone too. But I enjoy myself. I went to Kim Gary to eat my brunch. Here are some of the picture of my food...yum yum!!!

Iced Milk Tea

Borsch Soup

Baked Cheese Rice With Beef

After brunch, I went shopping at Sunway Pyramid, didn't really bought much clothes, which I use to like last time. I bought a lot of books instead. I really loved books. Really spend a lot on books. But, thanks God that church are giving us books allowance on Theology Books (any Christian Books). So, it saved me a lot.

After I done my shopping, went home and prepared for Saturday Night Service at FCC. Wow! It's been few months since I left FCC, really miss it. I enter the building and well, bad, nobody recognized me. I', just like a stranger in a new place. Well, nobody even bothered to even say hi. Well, I take the inniative to talk to my 'leng' (konco-konco) from Nilai. Really miss them and I got a shock, someone is actually driving the van. Way the go man. I am suppose to keep his name annonymous...haha. After awhile, everybody started to notice me and asked the same question, 'when you come back oh?' and I have repeatedly replying the same thing. That night was Nickson preaching. It's the first time i heard him preaching. Seems like God always know when is the right time to speak to us.

I'm feeling a little drained out and tired. Really need some recharge. Thank God for the sermons. It once again remind me of my calling. I sit there in church, thinking and reflecting back what I have gone through before I respond to my calling into full time and also presently what happen. Nickson, also mention that we all should include God in everything. This is great! I felt so much relieved and recharged. Praise the Lord!
