Today I read a bible verse taken from Isaiah 61:10-11 here is what I says:
I delight greatly in the Lord;
My soul rejoices in my God.
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation
And arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
And as a bride adorns herself with jewels.
For as the soil makes the sprout come up
And a garden causes seeds to grow,
So the sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise
Spring up before all nations.
Isaiah 61:10-11
Sometimes, we are not patient enough, when we seed a flower, we expect it to start growing, and we did many things for this little garden to grow into a beautiful one. But yet all you can see are just the soil, day by day it is still the same. Why? We should leave them alone; let the sun shine on them, let the rain fall on them. Soon, the seeds will start to grow. Then, one day you will see a little green plants started to appeared. This seed are stooped afraid to grow. Thanks to hard work.
Sometimes in our life, when we share the gospel, we expect the person to immediately become a Christian, we expect them to faster grow and when they grow so slowly, we tent to be discouraged, but we should be reminded that within the seed lies God’s creative power, He’s given us the joy to see it grow; And when He puts new life within our heart, His wonder-working power we can know.
Spiritual growth depends on the water of God’s word and the sunshine of His love.
